Farmers from 12 villages rallied in front of the Kyauk Phyu Township on February 19.
The farmers reportedly met with township officials and officers from the Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise at the township office.
Previously both the China National Petroleum Corporation and MOGE provided compensation.
A township official said the claims were being processed.
The oil and gas pipeline runs from the Rakhine coast across Myanmar to China’s Yunnan province. The pipeline is now in full operation.
