An acclaimed Taekwondo team and a K-Pop band will visit Yangon and stage their performance of talents and songs soon with the aim of strengthening friendly ties between Myanmar and South Korea, official media reported Tuesday.

Jointly organized by Myanmar Taekwondo Federation and World Taekwondo Peace Crops Foundation, the events will be held on Saturday, said the New Light of Myanmar.

The Taekwondo team, which is the winner of Taekwondo exhibition contests for two successive years in 2011 and 2012, will perform Poomsae, Kyuk Pa and Sparring talents.

The K-Pop band will play many famous K-Pop songs like Oppa-Gangnam Style as well as Korean traditional songs
