India is interested in investing in infrastructure development projects in Thailand, and will use Myanmar as a bridge to reach the rest of ASEAN according to the Bangkok Post on January 30.

Indian President Pranab Mukherjee has called for increased bilateral trade between Myanmar and India during a meeting in New Delhi with visiting Myanmar Vice President Dr Sai Mauk Kham, according to a report in Business Standard on January 22.
India is expanding its outreach in line with a world shift towards Asia, reaching out to six strategic regions, including Myanmar under their “Look East” policy, according to Gateway House, an Indian think-tank November 10.
