Nay Pyi Taw - Nobody can challenge the proposal for six-party talks accepted by the Union Assembly, and opposing the proposal violates the law, the Union Assembly Speaker Thura U Shwe Mann told media on January 30.

Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has taken issue with a statement by President U Thein Sein that appears to lack clarity over the proposal to hold six-party talks on the contentious issue of changing the 2008 Constitution.
