KATHMANDU (AFP) - Fighting broke out in Nepal's parliament on January 20, with Maoist lawmakers throwing chairs and injuring four security officers as tensions ran high before a deadline to approve a post-war constitution.

KATHMANDU (AFP) - Nepal's Maoist leader warned January 19 of "conflict" if ruling parties try to push through a constitution by a January 22 deadline without opposition agreement, and promised to press ahead with a general strike.
