WASHINGTON (AFP) - The United States will not fully reactivate its military alliance with Thailand as long as the junta-controlled country refuses to restore democracy, a US diplomat warned February 5.

Amman (AFP) - Jordan executed two jihadist prisoners at dawn on February 4 after vowing a harsh response to the Islamic State group's burning alive of a Jordanian pilot, government spokesman Mr Mohammad al-Momani said.
